The purpose of this memorandum is to notify all Medicare Advantage organizations and Part D sponsors that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will be providing updates on the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA) via the Part C&D User Group calls. The Part C&D User Group calls are an existing forum and are open to all Medicare Advantage (MA) organizations and Medicare prescription drug (Part D) plans. Plans can also invite their affected subcontractors, including Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs).
