PACE Compliance
This memo is relevant to PACE programs because it highlights important application processes and compliance requirements for the 2025 calendar year. PACE organizations must ensure that their applications and waiver requests are submitted in accordance with the specified deadlines and include all necessary documentation.
PACE organizations and applicants must comply with the following requirements:
1. All Initial and Service Area Expansion Applications must be supported by the applicable State Administering Agency (SAA) and accompanied by a signed and dated state assurance form.
2. Applications must be complete with all required documentation at the time of submission. The only exception is the State Readiness Review (SRR) of a proposed center site, which may be submitted as part of a response to a CMS Request for Additional Information (RAI).
3. Applicants are encouraged to review the PACE Application training available on the CMS website prior to submission.
Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in the applications not being considered by CMS. Therefore, PACE organizations should prioritize adhering to these compliance measures to avoid potential delays or rejections.
